10th of December - today I had lunch with my dear friend Belinda...to wish her farewell and good luck as she moves to Victoria......it was a lovely lunch... but so sad as we hugged goodbye. I made her this journal cover as a little going away pressie...
11th of December was the Barmera Christmas Pageant night - we all lined up along the street to watch the floats drive by...and later in the evening we moved down to the oval to watch the spectacular fireworks display.
12th of December - tonight was Australia night - it was the final in our 'dining around the world' dinner parties with friends....and the high light was the bus trip that Ian had arranged for after dinner. We all jumped aboard and headed off to see the Christmas lights at Loxton.... Bella stayed awake almost the entire journey too.
13th of December - there was something silly in the air tonight....Mitch did some crafting and later Briony and I 'elfed' the family....
