Filling in an afternoon....

7 June 2012

A while ago I came across a ruffled shag cushion tutorial online (here)
I've been itching to try it ever since....so this afternoon I had a spare hour or two and decided to give it a go.
I think my next version will be in a solid colour....Id like a red....or a yellow perhaps...
but for this one....I just used what I had on hand.
Many years ago Mum had given me this piece of printed stretch....and it had sat in the cupboard begging to be used ever since. This cushion was the perfect use.

It was easy to make.... just a little time consuming....and I think the girlie s are going to love it next time they come to visit....in fact I think Ill make a second one to avoid any fights

I quite enjoyed my quiet afternoon in front of the sewing machine.
