Relay for life 2012

I jokingly liken it to childbirth....

Every year.....mid relay ....I mutter...never again!

Trouble is.....when its all over....the pain is forgotten.....and the plans begin for next year.

I already know we will be lining up again in 2013.

This year was the best.....

The weather was perfect.... quite warm in the afternoon.....a little cool overnight.....but really mild in the scheme of things.

Our team was fabulous....everyone shared the laps... we had fun....it was a pleasure to share the Relay with these people.

The food catering was great......and having Arrosto coffee available all night was a godsend.

I loved that Ian decided to join out team this year....and Briony and Jarrad were also relaying for another team.....it was quite the family affair.

Oh and the fundraising..... we didn't break any records this year....but every bit helps....

and the Riverland teams combined raised just over $50.000 dollars.... how bloody awesome is that!
